simplicity available for download

After many painful hours, my first theme is finally available for download.

It is a simple design but definitely not an easy job (read: for me) to do. It looks very much what you are seeing now, except you won’t get the flash on top ;).

I am planning to work harder on it, hopefully to list it on major wordpress theme websites for more people to download. I also hope in near future, I will design personalized wordpress theme on request, of course base on the main release theme, to generate some cash to pay off my bills.

Click on the ’simplicity’ button above to download.

Hope you’ll love it.

By the way nice try on the new layout…
Actually, what happen to the previous one? (I mean the first change)

By the way, do you know that your button (home, about…) runs out of place while I’m posting my comment here. Hmm or is it suppose to be that way?

Angel, the previous one has been trashed :P

I was adjusting the alignments, that’s why the buttons were out of place, they are now sitting nicely. Thanks for pointing out.

Try it, and let me know if there is any more bug. ;)

    Thanks

Eric, this is one of the best K2 mods I’ve seen so far - you might want to rethink the flash header though, some people have the Flash Blocker extension on in Firefox.

    (Just a friendly suggestion!)

    Yvonne, thanks for the compliment.

The flash header, hmmmmm, guess I’ll just leave it there for time being, cause I spent a lot of time learning to create flash. Again, thanks for your suggestion, I almost forgot bout Flash Blocker!

Nice blog you got there, very pleasant to read.

Thanks Eric :) I guess not many other people would notice it, but I use Flashblock because I’m on dial-up (ie. I still live in the Middle Ages ;) )

It must be a pain Yvonne!

I get frustrated if a page takes more than 10 secs to load.

Yeah :( But broadband is ridiculously pricey in Australia, plus wireless broadband (which is what I’m really aiming for) has a pretty pathetic range. That’s life, though :)

Yvonne, dial up is expensive here in UK, it is only a few pounds cheaper than broadband, but on top of that, they charge you if you’re over the usage limit, it can end up more expensive than broadband.

Perhaps adsense (or any other ads programmes) can generate a few quids for you? You got a nice content blog there. ;)

Ha ha, well the good thing is, we have really cheap unlimited dial-up over here ^_^ Phone bills can be a little more unweildy though ;)

Honestly, I’ve never used Adsense or anything similar in my life before, and I don’t really intend to. Too much work :/ :]

That’s good if the dial-up is cheap and unlimited!

Trust me, Yvonne, adsense is not that complicated as you think, you’ll be over the moon if you see your adsense starting to bring you some cash, I’m sure it will do.

That is sweet, Eric. If I change my mind, I’ll know where to look for help :)

I guess you mean Google Adsense Help??

    LOL

I am just kidding, drop me a line if you need any helps, I’ll try my best. I am more than happy to help.

  1. […] I had a little discussion with Eric about Adsense just this morning. Then I read an excellent post titled "Hey Paul, why no Adsense?" on What About Paul? Both had polar opposite opinions on the matter. Instead of spiralling into yet another rant about Internet advertising, I'll pose a simple question: How often do you, the ones who ads are actually designed for, actually click them? […]
