I was born in Klang, Malaysia. I spent my early life growing up in a beautiful suburbia. Then I moved to Nilai to attend Inti College Malaysia before I settled at where I am now. I am now living in Bradford, UK and working as an assistant civil engineer.
I am into photography, though at the moment I browse more photos than actually taking it. Most of the photos you see are taken using my D70. I used to snap a lot using the LOMO Fisheye. The fun part using the LOMO is you never know what’s coming out. However, I seldom shoot in LOMO anymore, it just cost too much to develop the film here, too much.
My current gears are:
- Nikon D70
- Nikon 18-70mm f3.5-4.5(Kit Lens)
- Nikon 50mm f1.8
- LOMO Fisheye Camera
- Polaroid 600 Classic
- Manfrotto 190PRO
- some filters
and I am craving for;
- Nikkor AF-S DX VR 18-200mm F/3.5-5.6G IF-ED
- Nikkor AF 105mm F2.8 D Micro
- Nikkor AF DX Fisheye 10.5mm F2.8 G ED
- Nikon SB 800 Speedlight
- MacBook Pro!
(starting to sweat~ how much money do I need? )
niceric.com and the blog
niceric.com is hosted by Site Ground, one of the best web hosting. This blog is my personal blog where I write mainly about wordpress theme design, photography and my life as a parent . I tend to share, you could dig into my weekly sharing, a category which I share about interesting web sites, blogs, games and photos I come across, on a weekly basis (at least I try). I also write some photoshop tutorials, though I am not a PS expert, I hope by doing so I’ll also learn from you.
My blog is running on Wordpress, which I believe is one of the best blogging tools. The theme I am using is highly appraise K2. I have developed a theme, simplicity, based on K2. It is now available for download. It took me a while to create it because I have no backgound in CSS, PhP etc and minimum skill on Photoshop (I only know how to crop, level, resize, get rid of red eyes and etc before this theme development!)
Why niceric?
Okie, the story has to go back to mid 90s, when I was still in secondary school and started to get into internet and chat rooms. I wanted a nick that has my name in it, but not too obvious and I came out with niceric, a combination of nice and eric. Okie, I know it’s lame and I am not thick face, I was only 15! Then I started using it on chat rooms, forums etc and it has officially become my nickname on the internet. When I came to register my domain name, without any thought, I simply hit the keyboard with niceric!
How does it pronounce? hmmmm, nice-ric? You tell me.
If you search niceric on google, 80% of the result is about me. ^-*
more?
You can know me more by frequent this blog, or move on reading 101 things about me (which I completed merely 17, this says something bout me! hmmmm)
