It’s Apple show time!

Apple is determined to hit the mp3 player market today by launching all new iPods, including iPod Video, iPod nano and iPod Shuffle. Apple not just improve the capacity and battery life of the iPods, even better news for comsumers, they are cheaper!!

Most of the players are thinner with better life battery and more capacities. I am not going to details. You can find out more in Apple.com

This is what interested me, iTunes 7 that enable us to download movies. (Photos below grabbed from apple.com, but you still be able to “Click to Download”)

iTunes 7 is announced alongside with the new mp3 players, you can now download movie from iTunes, though only about 70+ movies available for download at the moment. The resolution of the movie is 640 x 480 with near DVD quality. At from $9.99 a movie, it is not expensive to own your favorite movies (I am talking bout true legal copy!), but don’t get exciting yet, the service is only available in US for the time being.

The forthcoming “iTV”, a set top box, stream wirelessly with a plethora of connectivity options to your home Television. In another word, you can watch your downloaded movies in your 60″ Plasma if your 12″ MacBook is making your eye sore.

I always love Apple, Apple is the driving force in evolution of mainstream technology yet without sacrificing the design.

Nike and Apple established a partnership, what could they come out?

First of all, I would want you guys to click on both images of the shoes, to see what they come out, then read on, if you wish to find out more.

Okay, Tune your run is a way to use the iPod to track data captured in the soles of new Nike running shoes. Nike has come out Nike+ range to meet this new kit and Apple will begin to sell a Nike+iPod Sport Kit. The kit has a small sensor to put in the shoe, and this sensor will transmit the data (wireless of course!) to a receiver that you attach to the iPod.

So what data actually are they collecting? Well, basically this kit will let you track information on time, distance, calories burned and pace during your running session, and it will store it on iPod. The information will be displayed on the screen and you will be able to get audio feedback through your ear phones, and of course, you will be able to listen to your beloved musics.

Wondering what Steve Jobs’ team will come out next…

iPod issues - reset iPod

Okie, my iPod nano refursed to respond yesterday. At first I thought I must be given a second quality iPod as I got it free. Then I realized Benji’s iPod was having the same problem and solved it. He was so smart, what he did was to let the iPod’s battery dried out, and it took at least 10 hours. I didn’t bother to wait for 10 hours and the manual was at no-where. I thought there must be some way out.

So I search around the web and found the solution, and it was simple as 123.

Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

Problem solved! Still not sure how to do it? Nevermind, you can watch it in action!

iPod vending machine

I’m sure most of you have experience on faulty vending machine, you put in a few coin in, the vending machine will either drop nothing, or simply come out more than you expect if you lucky.

Not quite sure what’s your reaction if you put �200 into a iPod vending machine, and nothing come out…
